Connecting Dreams Foundation
Connecting Dreams Foundation, Sri Venkateswara College (CDF SVC), is a youth-led social entrepreneurship society dedicated to inspiring young individuals to become catalysts for social change. Guided by the mission of promoting positive youth development, the society strives to alleviate poverty in marginalized areas by providing opportunities to tackle community-based challenges. Contributing significantly to several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including no poverty, quality education, gender equality, decent work and economic growth, and reduced inequalities, CDF SVC is committed to creating a sustainable future.
There Are 3 Ongoing Projects
1. Project Roshni focusses on social entrepreneurship, combating women's unemployment through the creation and sale of handcrafted scented candles.
2. Project Prerna empowers underprivileged high school students by raising awareness about future opportunities and aiding them in choosing suitable career paths. Under Prerna, Project Angrezi Vartaalap aims to create a positive learning environment for students, enhancing their communication skills and confidence through public speaking training.
3. Project Alankriti empowers female beneficiaries by assisting them in crafting bracelets and paper quills, providing tangible forms to their creative expressions.
Embracing a systemic 3-C model of social entrepreneurship—Collect, Create, and Change—CDF SVC strategically addresses community issues by gathering resources, developing innovative solutions, and implementing transformative changes.
