Sri Venkateswara College has instituted a Freeship and Students Aid Fund Committee, to offer financial assistance to deserving students, after a rigorous verification process by a duly constituted Staff Council Committee.

Each year, a large number of students benefit from the freeships, and due care is taken to ensure that the money is disbursed to candidates genuinely in need of financial aid. The College provides freeships to all deserving students on the basis of academic performance, regularity, socio-economic status and other relevant factors.

Documents required to apply for Freeship:

• College ID
• Income Certificate / ITR filed for the previous year
• Mark sheet of the last exam passed
• Receipt of the college fees for the current year
• Death certificate of the deceased parent (if any)
• Cancelled cheque of the bank account in the name of the student
• Any other supporting document in favour of the application

The Government of India, in its efforts to raise the education level and opportunities for its citizens, provides a number of scholarships throughout one's academic journey. The government engages in continuous efforts to provide national scholarships and various need-based schemes that support all kinds of students in society to help them pursue quality education. Students can apply to various scholarships provided by central and state government.

To apply for any external scholarship, the student is required to fill the declaration form (Click here to fill the declaration Form). In order to get a bonafide certificate from the head of the institution, a printout of the filled declaration form must be attached with the application submitted to the office.
