Organic Chemistry - Reagents, Reactions, and Chemical Processes.
Collaboration Overview: Research & Innovation with ILBS
Partnering with the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS), New Delhi—a premier apex medical institution and Deemed University—bridges advanced chemical/biological research with cutting-edge clinical application.
Key highlights of this collaborative effort include:
Targeting Resistant Pathogens: Combining expertise in synthetic organic chemistry and microbiological evaluation to evaluate novel sulfur-linked 1,2,3- and 1,2,4-triazole hybrid compounds as multi-target antibacterial agents to combat antimicrobial resistance (AMR).
Translational Medical Research: Leveraging ILBS’s world-class diagnostic, biobanking, and clinical facilities to evaluate compound efficacy, toxicity, and mechanism of action against clinical bacterial isolates and hospital-acquired resistant strains.
