The Fine Arts Association (FAA) of Sri Venkateswara College, established in 1978, began as a student-driven initiative to foster creativity, artistic expression, and cultural engagement within the college.Within the association, 13 specialised societies operate, each focusing on a distinct art form,aimed at nurturing creativity and talent in the college which work together in a collaborative manner. It is known for organising the annual fest of Sri Venkateswara College which has grown into the most anticipated event of not only college but of University of Delhi.In addition to NEXUS, it is also known for organizing Jalsa, a celebration of festive season.

Alaap, the Indian music society of Sri Venkateswara College, distinguishes itself with creative raga-based compositions. They delve into the emotional essence of each raga, delivering performances that are both engaging and memorable. Their dedication to classical Indian music is evident in their accomplished vocal artistry. Alaap invites all music enthusiasts, providing a space to hone their skills and perform.

Anubhuti the dramatic society of sri Venkateswara college is not just a dramatics society — it is an emotion, an experience, and a journey of self-discovery through art From the street plays to the stage play performances , from words to silence, and from music to movement, Anubhuti celebrates every shade of expression. Here, stories are not only told, they are lived. We believe that theatre is more than performance — it is a mirror to society, a voice for the unheard, and a spark that inspires change.

The Quiz Society of Sri Venkateswara College stands as a beacon for quizzing enthusiasts, fostering a vibrant and inclusive community of students with varied interests who share the passion to expand their intellectual horizons. Their quiz events span a wide spectrum of genres, from current affairs and historical events to the realms of music, literature, and art. Conquiztadors fosters a culture where learning is about discovery rather than competition.

Crescendo stands as a hub of musical excellence within the DU Western Music circuit. Comprising a talented group of versatile vocalists and instrumentalists, Crescendo's members exhibit expertise across a spectrum of musical genres, spanning jazz, classical, modern electronic, and hip-hop. This diversity extends to include rappers, music producers, and beatboxers, fostering an environment that encourages exploration and experimentation with various forms of music.

Effulgence Films, the filmmaking society of Sri Venkateswara College, they do more than just create movies—they pour their hearts and souls into every frame, capturing the spirit of life comprising of passionate young visionaries, cinephiles, and aspiring artists, dedicated to storytelling and constantly honing their craft.

Effulgence, the Photography Society of Sri Venkateswara College has evolved into a community known for its passion for visual storytelling and infamous photowalks across Delhi, welcome to both DSLR and mobile users. Along with exploring various photography styles like portrait, street, architecture, nature, event coverage, etc., the society’s belief that there’s truly much more to everything than what meets the eye keeps this passion alive.

Leonci, Founded in 2012 ,the Leonci Art Society has swiftly become a vibrant creative community within SVC. Embracing a rich palette of styles—from sketching, painting, sculpture and charcoal to quilling, rangoli, calligraphy, and the sfumato technique—Leonci nurtures diverse artistic expression . It draws together dreamers and creators in a shared exploration of imagination and innovation.

Nritya is the Choreography Society that thrives on expressive dance forms such as contemporary, jazz, lyrical, and ballet. We are known for our theme-based productions that combine creativity with powerful storytelling. Our performances are not just about dance, but about evoking emotions, sparking conversations, and leaving a lasting impact. At Nritya, we take pride in pushing artistic boundaries and using dance as a medium to inspire, connect, and create change.

Nrityangana, Founded in 2014, Nrityanagana is a heartfelt celebration of India’s rich and diverse dance heritage. With energy and devotion, the society showcases a wide range of classical and folk dances— from the joyful beats of Garba, Ghoomar, Bihu, and Lavani to the graceful beauty of Kathak, Bharatanatyam, Mohiniyattam, Odissi, and the powerful expressions of Kathakali. But Nrityanagana is not just about performing on stage—it is a family where every dancer feels at home. It is a space to grow, to express freely, and to discover confidence through dance. Here, traditions are cherished, culture is kept alive, and together we create a journey of learning, sharing, and inspiring through every step and every rhythm.

Petrichor is the pause after a downpour, the air turned soft, the world a little quieter, and your thoughts finally audible. We’re a circle of writers, poets, and artists bound not by perfection, but by the courage to create. This is a safe, non judgemental space where words breathe, metaphors spill, and silence feels like kinship. It’s your people: the ones who understand half-written drafts, coffee-stained journals, and thoughts too heavy to say out loud.

Verbum is the English Dramatics Society of Sri Venkateswara College The society is renowned for its engaging performances, and its commitment to realism in theatre is evident in its diverse repertoire, which often explores complex themes and characters. The society's dedication to the craft has earned it recognition in the collegiate theatre circuit, contributing to the vibrant cultural life at SVC.

Verve, Known for creating legacy and chasing perfection, VERVE stands as the college's premier Western and street dance society.VERVE has garnered a formidable reputation in the Community. Consistently delivering electrifying performances that blend various styles, including hip-hop, waacking, locking, popping, house, and breaking, making them one of the top 5 winning teams in the Delhi Dance Circuit.

Vimarsh -The Hindi debating society of Sri Venkateswara College, University of Delhi , has been a student attraction for the pursuit of knowledge. The community aims in uncovering the art of debate and develops an attitude of critical thinking in individuals.
